Joshua Kerry, 28, Charged Over the Murder of Ann Widdecombe

Joshua Kerry, from Rotherham, South Yorkshire, is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, the Crown Prosecution Service said.

The investigation into the death of former Conservative minister and Reform UK spokeswoman Ann Widdecombe remains ongoing. Counter Terrorism Policing is now leading the investigation after new evidence emerged during the inquiry. Detectives say they are continuing to establish the motive and circumstances surrounding the attack, and have urged the public to avoid speculation while enquiries continue.
